General Machinery Group

General Machinery Limited (Gmach) was incorporated in Uganda in March 1965 with the main purpose of developing agricultural mechanisation through provision of agricultural tractors, implements and related after sales needs. The second role was to import and distribute construction machinery both for Road construction and sundry site development.

The company started as a motor vehicles distributor for passenger cars, trucks and buses and later on expanded its activities to include water solutions, drilling, supply of pumps and piping installations, steel fabrication, machining & galvanising, marketing installations, supply and maintenance of diesel generators, motor vehicle sales and service, spare parts, car leasing and hire, fleet management solutions, earth moving equipment, investment and financial services.

We are an integrated business entity headquartered in Kampala, Uganda.

All operations are steeped in environmental protection, health and safety as a priority in an effort to making a difference. The Group comprises of independent business entities with suitable management expertise placed at the helm.
